This is a simple tool to calculate the cube meter(m³) from inches, feet, yards, mm, cm or meter. Visual cube help us more understanding.

How to use this calculator

  1. fill the blanks of lenght, width and height
  2. selcet the unit (in,ft,yd,mm,cm,m)
  3. then you will know how many is the cube meters

How how calculate cubic meters

Measure the sides of the carton. You'll need to know the length, width, and height of the rectangular carton. Use a measuring tape to find all three distances and mark them down separately.

If you are accustomed to using metric units, you can use the centimeters when measuring. When calculat the cubic meters, convert cm into meters first, then multipy the three numbers. For example,

Length : 30 cm ÷ 100 = 0.3 m
Width : 38 cm ÷ 100 = 0.38 m
Height : 42 cm ÷ 100 = 0.42 m
0.23 × 0.35 × 0.40 = 0.04788 cubic meter

If you are accustomed to using imperial units, you can use the inches when measuring. When calculat the cubic meters, convert inches into meters first, then multipy the three numbers. For example,

Length : 15 in × 0.0254 = 0.381 m
Width : 18 in × 0.0254 = 0.4572 m
Height : 12 in × 0.0254 = 0.3048 m
0.381 × 0.4572 × 0.3048 = 0.05309408736 cubic meter

Cube meter formula for cm

Length (centimeter) x Width (centimeter) x Height (centimeter) / 1,000,000 = Length meter x Width meter x Height meter = Cubic meter (m³) .
